DAVID WOODS
David Woods received his bachelors of science degree With Honors from Illinois State University. He has been farming
full time since 1976 and is currently producing on 1500 acres. Works part-time with the National Association of State Departments
of Agriculture (NASDA) gathering information from farmers on surveys and reports. In the past, he has worked for First National
Bank of Peoria as a farm manager.
RON DOWLAND
Ron Dowland has been in the agricultural production business all his life and has managed the Dowland farming
operation since 1977. Currently, Dowland Farms produces on over 1000 acres. Ron is a graduate of Lincoln Land Community
College. In addition to his full time farming operation, he has served as a crop hail adjuster, assistant manager of a grain
elevator, A.S.C.S. field man, and manager of a tank crew for Illini Fertilizer.
CHRISTOPHER DOWLAND
Christopher Dowland graduated from Western Illinois University with a bachelors degree in Agricultural Management. After
graduation, he returned to Dowland Farms where he is involved with all aspects of the farming operation.
JOHN KOSTER
Our hunting and timber management consultant, John Koster advises relative to the managment of hunting leases, outfitting
and timber management. John is an Illinois Licensed Outfitter independently managing and leasing 3,000 acres of hunting lands
in central Illinois. John is a lifelong farmer owning, leasing and managing 1,000 acres and holds the office of Vice-President
of Illinois Recreational Resources.
